Finding Renewal in the Season of Spring

Spring carries with it a sense of possibility. After months of gray skies and chilly air, the return of warmth and color feels like a gentle nudge to begin again. The world outside transforms—buds swell on branches, flowers stretch toward the sun, and the air hums with life. This posture stimulates circulation and offers a literal change in perspective while awakening energy in the spine. Begin lying on your back with knees bent, feet planted. Press into your hands near your ears and gently lift your body, expanding through the chest and shoulders. When you’re ready, lower down slowly with the same care. Even if you don’t reach the full expression, working gradually toward it can feel both grounding and uplifting.

Soul: Breathing Life Back In

Breathwork offers another pathway to renewal. Anuloma Krama, or step-breathing, involves inhaling in stages. Picture filling a glass: inhale halfway and pause, then continue until your lungs are full. Pause again before exhaling completely. Repeating this process several times can calm the mind, strengthen lung capacity, and restore emotional balance. It’s a simple practice that aligns beautifully with spring’s theme of steady, gentle growth.
